Right-Wing Summer Reading, Part III

And the third book of the summer that earns the honor of being placed on my "Right-Wing Summer Reading List" is, Myths, Lies, and Downright Stupidity: Get Out the Shovel--Why Everything You Know is Wrong, by: John Stossel; libertarian and consumer reporter.

This book is an easy and fun read, that takes a ton of "myths" such as "Lawsuits Help Consumers," "The Government Can Solve All Your Problems," and "Cold Weather Makes You Sick" and debunks them in John Stossel's "give me a break" reporting style. As with most libertarians, Stossel is at his best when defending the free market, with a vast knowledge in economics and common sense.

This book is a great read (and is broken into small sections for easy bathroom reading!) Definitely a great book for conservatives (and the rare liberal who actually wants to learn something new!)
