The Good And The Bad: Election Not The End Of The World

Well, that election didn't go well... Time to look forward. Let's all realize that people didn't vote for Democrats, they voted against Republicans. We need to improve. We need to continue our gains in taking the media, but more than that, we need to get a hold on our spending, we need to crack down on illegal immigration, etc. The problem is, these things will be hard to do with liberals containing the legislature.

Some bad things: in LGF's words " flying subpoenas and impeachment hearings," a possible lame duck term for GW, difficulty in getting conservative judges appointed (and in a time when there are rumors of an opening coming up on the Supreme Court), and a possible repeal of the Bush tax cuts (killing our economy).

Some good things: this will force the Republicans to get back to their conservative values (stop wasting money and crackdown on illegals) and this will force the liberals into the public eye (if they had to hide Pelosi and Dean to win a few seats this time, how are they going to win the White House when people see how they run things?).

Time to look forward to 2008. This has been a horrible loss, yes, but it's not the end of the world. Hopefully we'll be able to keep Americans from being killed by terrorists and keep the economy booming despite the liberals, and come 2008 we'll be able to show people how the liberals run things and take the White House.
