Wow - That's Old

Holy Shit. I can't believe how old these people were:

A Quebec woman believed to be the world's oldest person has reportedly died at the age of 115.

According to Radio-Canada, Winnifred Bertrand inherited the title after the death in December of American Elizabeth Bolden, who was 116.

Bertrand, who once worked as a saleswoman, died Thursday at 115 years and 124 days, in a Montreal retirement home where she had lived for 35 years.

The world record for the oldest person was set by Frenchwoman Jeanne Calment, who died in 1997 at the age of 122.

It's too bad Winnifred (which was a cool name 115 years ago, by the way) had to live in Canada. Who knows, maybe if she'd had American healthcare she would of beat out old Elizabeth.
