More Muslims Arrested With Hundreds Of Cell Phones

We've been reporting on the two Dearborn men arrested in Ohio with hundreds of cell phones, airplane flight information (possibly passenger lists) and maps of Wall Marts located through out three states. They were charged with "money laundering to support terrorism" and "soliciting or providing support for an act of terrorism."

Well, now three new men have been arrested in Michigan, all Muslims, with 1,000 cell phones in their minivan. They have been arraigned on terror charges. The story identifies the men:

Maruan Awad Muhareb and Louai Abdelhamied Othman, both of Mesquite, Texas, and Adham Abdelhamid Othman, of Dallas, were stopped before dawn Friday after they purchased 80 cell phones from a Wal-Mart in Caro. Police said they found about 1,000 cell phones, mostly prepaid TracFones, in their minivan.

The men claim they intended to sell the phones in Texas for a profit, however the story adds:

Authorities have said TracFones are often used by terrorists because they are not traceable. Cell phones can also be used to make detonators.

Imagine my surprise when I found out that three new American Muslims had been caught buying supplies for terrorists overseas. I sure hope America isn't headed down the same road as Europe, a road that led to a huge problem with home-grown Islamic terrorists.
