Apparently It's Too Late To Save The Earth From 'Global Warming'

Good news! Apparently it's too late to do anything about global warming, so we can just do away with all those pesky environmental regulations!

'Yellow Wiggle' Set To Leave 'The Wiggles'

Say a prayer for Greg Page, the "Yellow Wiggle" of the Australian childrens' music group "The Wiggles," who is apparently very ill and will be announcing his departure from The Wiggles. I've already lost Steve Irwin, I don't think I could handle the loss of a Wiggle...

'Burning Six' Media Dishonesty (Are You Surprised?)

Unfortunately the "Burning Six" story that the MSM appears to have fabricated (originally ripped a new one by Curt at Flopping Aces) is one of those stories I waited too long to report on. So much info has been uncovered that I couldn't do it justice. Be sure to read Mary Katherine Ham's take on it:

The AP reported that six Sunnis were burned alive by Shiites while leaving a mosque Friday. AP used Capt. Jamil Hussein of the Iraqi Police Force as its sole named source of the account in the original story. The U.S. military and Iraqi soldiers couldn't confirm the event. It turned out, according to CENTCOM, that Hussein was never an Iraqi police officer nor a bona fide spokesperson for the Iraqi police, but the AP's been using him as a source for months, perhaps years. Yesterday, CENTCOM asked for a correction on the story, based on the new information about Hussein.

It's a huge post, read the whole thing. Also, Malkin does a good job summing it up, with some documented dishonesty from Yahoo.

Clinton Judge: US Paper Money Not Legal

This is just unbelievable: "Clinton Appointed Judge Declares US Paper Money Illegal." Apparently it's discriminatory to the blind...

Ice Sheets Still Not Thinning

Apparently the ice sheets are still thickening in Antarctica (hat tip to the not-safe-for-work Daily Adult Joke). No study has ever shown otherwise, so I can't see what difference this story will have on the ignorant, alarmist environmentalists.

Alcee Hastings Drops Out (Good Riddance)

Powerline:

It looks like Nancy Pelosi has made the sound decision not to have Rep. Alcee Hastings chair the House intelligence committee. Hastings, of course, was impeached and then removed from a federal judgeship in 1989 based on allegations that he had solicited bribes, so Pelosi's decision should have been a no-brainer.

Of course, it wasn't a no-brainer since Dems have no morals and therefore see nothing wrong with corruption. This is great news, however, as Glenn Reynolds puts it:

That's bad news for the GOP, but good news for the Democrats, and the country.

More, from Malkin.

24 Previews: Only 47 Days!

For all the 24 fans out there (and if you're not a fan, get off my web page, liberal), Ian over at Hot Air put together some fan-made previews of the upcoming season (which starts in 47 days, by his count).

Spoiler warning, by the way, for fans like me who just got into the show and are playing catch-up (just finished season 4, can't wait to download 5!).

Airport Imams Followed Hijack Pattern In Seating

Apparently the cry-baby airport imams weren't as innocent as they claimed.

More from Captain Ed.

Michelle Malkin sums it all up for us in today's Vent, doing away with the need for all that pesky reading.

Pope Benedict XVI Arrives In Turkey

Say a little prayer for the Pope, who's in Turkey now, where every Islamic Radical wants him dead.

You can find transcripts of his speaches here (hat tip: Wispers in the Logia).

Mary Katerine Ham over at Townhall has a good post on the visit:

The pontiff emphasized the importance of religious freedom in a meeting with a Turkish Islamic cleric:

“Freedom of religion, institutionally guaranteed and effectively respected in practice, both for individuals and communities, constitutes for all believers the necessary condition for their loyal contribution to the building up of society,” the pope said following talks with Ali Bardakoglu, chief of Turkey’s Religious Affairs Directorate.

Benedict has made religious freedom one of the centerpieces of his papacy, and has complained about countries denying full rights to Christians.

The cleric fell back on an old stand-by. "Islamophobia!"

Bardakoglu, at a joint appearance with the pope, said that growing “Islamophobia” hurts all Muslims.

“The so-called conviction that the sword is used to expand Islam in the world and growing Islamophobia hurts all Muslims,” he said.

I wonder where anyone would get that idea.

Here's some more objective coverage from Allah and Robert Spencer (here, here, here and here).

MSM's 'Solomonic Wisdom'

Ace has these posts (here and here) on the MSM's decision to be part of the story and, "in their Solomonic wisdom," deem the turbulence in Iraq a "civil war." (here's more from Flopping Aces, Jawa, and Allah. Also, Be sure to watch MRC's Brent Bozell tear Colmes a new one.)

How Palestine Negotiates

So Israel's Olmert has offered Palestine some prisoners (in exchange for prisoners) and even went so far as to say that Palestine may be able to achieve an independent state through talks. In response Palestine launched rockets into Israel. Does anyone think you can reason with these people?

Colorado Homeowners Association Bans Hanging Of 'Peace Wreath'

A Colorado homeowners association has forbid a woman to hang a Christmas wreath shaped like a peace symbol. This all seems ridiculous to me. You have homeowners associations banning everything US flags, to political signs, to smoking, to peace wreaths. Just let people live.

However, it is worth noting that the media (and no doubt the courts) will give this their undivided attention. Where were they when homeowners associations were banning the flying of US flags because it could "offend" someone? Liberal double standard alert!

Ahmadinejad Predicts Collapse Of The West

Certifiable Iranian lunatic Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has predicted the collapse of the US, the UK, and (of course) Israel. I worry with our state of moral decay, our unwillingness to identify our enemies, and a vast influx of Islamic immigrants (notably in the UK) that he may be right.

I have to admit that I do worry about the future of civilization. We have a burgeoning Muslim population in Europe (Eurabia), including many, many "radicals," and we live in a PC society that refuses to see this as a problem. In France, cars are burned by the dozens every week and Muslim youths beat police officers and cause havoc in general. In the UK, Russia, Spain, the US, and else where, violent Islamic cells plan attacks on innocent civilians from inside their own countries.

Iran and North Korea aren't the only threat to Western Civilization, nor are all of the Radical Islamics fighting us in Iraq. There are Radicals throughout the world spreading their ideology and society is too blinded to do anything about it.

The Kremlin Murders

Michael Ledeen has an excellent article on Putin's regime and the murder of Alexander Litvinenko via NRO: "The Kremlin Murders: James Jesus Angelton on Alexander Litvinenko."

He reveals the chilling fact that Putin has passed laws making it legal for him to have his critics assassinated and lists off likely victims of Putin hits.

Nap Time

Slow news day and I'm feeling ill, so I think it's nap time. Report back later...

Oklahoma Muslim Kicked Out Of Mosque For Criticizing Bin Laden

American Muslims are all moderates right? That's what I'm told. However, Western Resistance reports that an Oklahoma Muslims was thrown out of his mosque for criticizing bin Laden, calling him a coward. Apparently the mosque members didn't like him "criticizing Islam" infront of non-Muslims. So which is it? Are terrorists like bin Laden "radicals," or are peaceful Muslims the ones who are out of the mainstream? (hat tip: Jawa)

Libs: Blood Of Deceased Motorcade Officer On GW's Hands

Apparently the chatter on the lib sites is that the blood of a deceased officer injured while escorting President Bush's motorcade is on GW's hands (hat tip: Hot Air). Can they really blame him? Apparently they can...

IsnÂ’t this the second police officer heÂ’s hurt since being in office?

Blog Crusaders

I'm adding a new banner to the side bar, this one:

It's about time that UITF identify ourselves as Crusaders doing our part to battle radical Islam. The Crusades were launched hundreds of years ago to gain back the Holy Land that the Mohammedans had stolen. The West may have stopped fighting the Crusades hundreds of years ago, but Muslims didn't. They have been at continuous war with the West since Mohammed first commanded them to cover the globe ruling all with Islam's iron fist of Sharia.

This blog is committed to fighting radical Islam and those who support it (whether they be the media or dictatorships like Iran and Saudi Arabia). If you want to identify your self as a blogger against radical Islam, a Blog Crusader, feel free to put the banner on your blog (and link it back to this mission statement). I think it's about time that we all made it clear that we won't stand for terrorism, and that we won't live as dhimmi, but that we'll fight radical Islam's evil ideology.

Here's the code, just past it on your site (replace the parenthisese() with carrots<>):

(a href="http://unrestintheforest.blogspot.com/2006/11/blog-crusaders.html")(img src="http://img167.imageshack.us/img167/3461/blogcrusadertb6.jpg" /)(/a)

Dem Activist Gets 10 Months For Producing Kiddie Porn

I wouldn't mention this disgusting story, but I guess I have to to make the following point: Have you heard about this from the MSM? Do you think you would have if this guy were a Republican activist? Of course you would have! The media double standard here disgusts me...

'Getting The News From The Enemy'

Speaking of Flopping Aces, they have a great post on how the media is reporting enemy propaganda and creating the illusion of a country on the brink of civil war in Iraq. A truly amazing post, read the whole thing.

Venezuelans March Against Chavez

Looks like the people of Venezuela might not be as fond of their evil mini-Castro as he would like us to think (hat tip: Flopping Aces). Fox News: "Thousands Join Venezuela's Top Presidential Contender for Campaign March." Here's a picture:

Well That Didn't Take Long...

Palestinians have already broken the "truce" with Israel. Reports AP:

Israeli troops withdrew from the Gaza Strip as an unexpected truce took hold Sunday, but two major Palestinian militant groups, saying they had no intention of stopping their attacks, fired volleys of homemade rockets into Israel.

One of the "Palestinian militant groups" being Hamas, by the way, which has huge influence in Palestine's government.

Alexander Litvinenko Dies

Alexander Litvinenko, the journalist and former KGB spy who claimed he was poisoned for his vocal opposition to Putin, has died.

We reported on him earlier.

Turkey Terror!

Apparently liberals aren't happy with just bitching about how the Pilgrims treated the Indians on Thanksgiving anymore, now we have to hear about the sufferings of the turkeys. And so, happy Thanksgiving from PETA (hat tip: Malkin):

(I guess, just in case any of you are squeamish, I should warn you that this video contains graphic turkey violence, some language, and some sexual references)

Turkey Terror!

You're Not Even Safe If You're With President

Is it just me, or have there been an unusual number of stories about bad things happening to those involved with or around the President? Here's what I mean:

"Report: Bush Daughter's Purse Stolen in Buenos Aires"
"Motorcycle Officer Critically Injured In [Presidential] Motorcade Crash"
"White House Aide Mugged in Waikiki"
"Clinton Neighbors Shot; Woman Dies"

I'm in no way suggesting that there's any significance to this, just had to point it out.

Litvinenko Illness Vexes Doctors

Say a prayer for Alexander Litvinenko, whose illness is vexing doctors. We reported on Litvinenko earlier and suspicions that he was poisoned by the Russian government.

More On America's Moral Decay

Government health officials are reporting that almost 4 in 10 babies born in the US are born out of wedlock. I don't want to use the words "Sodom and Gomorrah," but it's getting tempting. If the liberals keep it up, maybe they'll succeed and get rid of marriage all together. Then the whole statistic will be moot!

7th Graders Who Shared Lancets To Be Tested For HIV

AP is reporting "Calif. Kids Tested for HIV After Sharing Lancets in Science Experiment." What is the moral state of society where we have to be worried about 7th graders contracting HIV from one another? Unfortunately, it's probably a necessary measure...

Muslims Outraged, Sky Blue

Oh no! "U.S. Muslim leaders outraged after imams removed from plane." What else is new?

There's only one comment that can be made on this story: "Why in the world would Americans be suspicious of Muslims loudly, publicly praying on airplanes? Go figure."

John McCain Would Support Overturning Roe v. Wade

Here's a post over at the Daily Kos titled "John McCain would support overturning Roe v. Wade ":

... McCain has flip-flopped on his 1999 statement that he wouldn't support overturning Roe v Wade. This is a fantastic catch. They've included the video at that link, and the ABC transcript:

STEPHANOPOULOS: Let me ask one question about abortion. Then I want to turn to Iraq. You're for a constitutional amendment banning abortion, with some exceptions for life and rape and incest.

MCCAIN: Rape, incest and the life of the mother. Yes.

STEPHANOPOULOS: So is President Bush, yet that hasn't advanced in the six years he's been in office. What are you going to do to advance a constitutional amendment that President Bush hasn't done?

MCCAIN: I don't think a constitutional amendment is probably going to take place, but I do believe that it's very likely or possible that the Supreme Court should — could overturn Roe v. Wade, which would then return these decisions to the states, which I support.

STEPHANOPOULOS: And you'd be for that?

MCCAIN: Yes, because I'm a federalist. Just as I believe that the issue of gay marriage should be decided by the states, so do I believe that we would be better off by having Roe v. Wade return to the states. And I don't believe the Supreme Court should be legislating in the way that they did on Roe v. Wade.

(Emphasis added.)

This man is not a "moderate". He's pandering to the extreme religious right. Clearly, should McCain decide to run in 2008 , a vote for him would be a vote against a woman's right to chose.

Bad news for Kos - good news for conservatives that are concerned that McCain may be our nominee in 2008.

North Korea May Get Rewards For Threatening The World

Good News (sarcasim)! "U.S. Signals New Incentives for North Korea." Let's remember how incentives worked for Clinton:

I think it's time we tried the stick, the carrot ain't working...

US Journalist Detained In China

AP is reporting: "U.S. journalist believed held in China."

I continue to be amazed that the peoples of such an advanced society could put up with such an evil government; let's hope that we won't.

**Update**

More on China's glorious, free media: "China to curb crime news on TV, radio." How good of them...

Putin Allegedly Poisons Critic

Putin's at it again: "Leading Russian critic of Putin's regime is poisoned in London." Reports the Sunday Telegraph:

A close friend of Mr Litvinenko said last night: "Alexander has no doubt that he was poisoned at the instigation of the Russian government." He has been living at a secret address in London with his wife and son because he feared he might be targeted by political opponents.

Now there's a regime that worries me; Putin's. Selling weapons to Iraq, being weak on dangerous nations for greedy reasons, killing journalists...

Philanthropy Expert: Conservatives Are More Generous

Not that I'm surprised, but a new study finds that "religious conservatives donate far more money than secular liberals to all sorts of charitable activities, irrespective of income."

That's because we know our treasure is in Heaven, not on earth. Secularist liberals need as much wealth as they can get so they can buy lots of stuff to please their hedonistic greed.

Glenn Back: 'Exposed: The Extremist Agenda'

Hat tip to Allah; someone has finally posted Glenn Back's awesome special on Islam on YouTube. If you haven't seen it yet, watch the whole thing. If you have seen it, watch it again:

Hilarious

I find Malkin's new post on the Kos Kids screaming election fraud hilarious - for a number of reasons.

Blix: North Korea Will Get The Bomb

Hans Blix is confident that North Korea will develop the bomb:

Former U.N. weapons inspector Hans Blix said Friday that North Korea would one day master nuclear weapons technology despite its apparently less-than-successful atomic test, and he warned that the world must avoid striking a quick disarmament deal that lacks effective verification measures.

Blix said verification would be the key to ensuring compliance in any nuclear accord with Pyongyang, as the country returns to six-nation talks on its weapons program.

Some Good And Bad Economic News

I'm sure the mainstream media won't fail to mention the Dems planned efforts to raise the minimum wage, but here's some good economic news (you know, in case they somehow accidentally gloss over it): Oil has hit a record low for the year and the Dow has set a record for the third straight day in a row.

I can't wait to hear stories about the economy picking up now that the Dems have a shred of power...

Michael Moore: Plagiarist? Probably - He's Slimey Enough.

Malkin points out that it looks like Michael Moore may have been up to some plagiarism.

Milton Friedman Video

Here's a classic video (hat tip: Mary Katharine Ham) of Milton Friedman explaining a favorite essay of mine, I, Pencil, which eloquently and without nonsense explains the beauties of the Invisible Hand of the free market:

***Update, 5:23pm***

Hat tip to Allah for this great video of Milton Friedman on some old PBS (I think) show:

5:53pm: Just watched the video, Milton Friedman is great. It was slightly ruined by the host of the show quoting a dead communist sympathizer at the end though...

Media Bias Vilifies LAPD. What's New?

What media bias? Can you spot the disconnect between this AP headline and the story that accompanies it?

"Police Use Stun Gun on Student for Not Showing ID at UCLA Library"

...Police tried to escort Tabatabainejad, 23, out of the library after he refused to provide identification. Tabatabainejad instead encouraged others at the library to join his resistance, and when a crowd began to gather, police used the stun gun on him, Greenstein said.

The headline makes it sound like they just stunned a student who would show his ID! The story tells that the student entered the library late at night, repeatedly refused to show his ID (library procedure), resisted police escort and refused to leave, and then appears to have either attempted to incite a riot or violence against police. Why does the media feel the need to constantly vilify the LAPD?

Pollution May Solve Global Warming Issues!

See, pollution can be a good thing! AP:

If the sun warms the Earth too dangerously, the time may come to draw the shade. The "shade" would be a layer of pollution deliberately spewed into the atmosphere to help cool the planet. This over-the-top idea comes from prominent scientists, among them a Nobel laureate.

Milton Friedman Dead At 94

A great man. Milton Friedman has died:

A free-market economist, Friedman preached free enterprise in the face of government regulation and advocated a monetary policy that called for steady growth in money supplies.

His ideas played a pivotal role in informing the governing philosophies of world leaders like former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and former U.S. President Ronald Reagan.

Friedman believed that economic stabilization policy did not operate like a thermostat, because of the 'long and variable lag' between policy actions and their ultimate effects.

St. Louis Federal Reserve Bank President William Poole, another noted monetarist, said much of modern central bank thinking stemmed from Friedman's work. Poole said Friedman's most important contribution was to bring theoretical economic thinking to bear on a range of public policy issues.

"Before Milton, economists were not taken seriously by public policy-makers," Poole said, citing the influence of Friedman's work on the issues of U.S. military conscription, school vouchers and tax policy, as well as his better-known contribution on the importance of money supply to inflation.

"He was an extraordinarily important figure in the profession," Poole said. Friedman called for a steady and predictable monetary policy as the surest guarantee against excessive fluctuations in the general price level and in the level of economic activity.

In 1976 Friedman's years of teaching and nearly two-dozen books were recognized with the Nobel Prize for economic science.

Dems' Leadership Vote

The Dems had their leadership vote, I'm hearing on Rush. Hoyer beat Murtha - thank God.

Ethiopian-Born Man Arrested With Nuclear Information

LGF reports that an Ethiopian-born man was arrested in Detroit with nuclear info.

City Ordinance Requests All Homes Own A Gun To Deter Crime

Alphecca has this story (hat tip: Instapundit) about an Idaho city that has passed an ordinance that "requested (but did not require) all residents to keep a gun in their homes for protection and to deter crime."

Apparently the town was inspired by the aftermath of hurricane Katrina.

No Sleep...

So I got about an hour and a half of sleep last night and I have some stuff to do, so forgive me if I'm a little slow on the posting today. Also, as you may have noticed, I had no posts yesterday. I apologize, but I've been a little busy.

Technical Problems

We're having some bizarre technical difficulties, so ignore double posts. I'm working with Blogger so I have no idea how to fix the problem as their FAQ sucks and you can't get a hold of any technical support people...

Still Waiting For That Crash...

Oh, by the way: "Dow Hits New High."

I'm still waiting for that crash the Dems kept talking about, but I guess with the election over they don't really need to lie about the economy anymore...

Big Three Auto Makers 'Impressed' With President Bush's Concern

GW met with the Big Three auto makers. They were aparently impressed with him. Reports AP:

The automakers later told reporters they'd had a good meeting. "The president clearly understands the importance of the business to the United States and the global economy," said Ford Motor Co. Chief Executive Alan Mulally.

The auto executives said they pressed their concerns about health care and trade issues, while making clear that the troubled industry does not want a federal bailout.

"We found a lot in common," said Bush, who met with the leaders just hours before he was to leave on a trip to Asia and a meeting in Vietnam with Asia-Pacific economic partners. The message he will give those partners, Bush said, is "just treat us like we treat you. ... Our markets are open for your products and we expect your markets to be open for ours, including our automobiles."

Democrats May Scrap Border Fence

I heard it on Hannity and was so disgusted I had to look it up to see if it was true: "Dem Congress may scrap border fence ." Hannity points out that it looks like we're going to have to go back to useless debates about amnesty, while meanwhile our Southern border is largely unguarded and illegals are sneaking in by the millions!

Charges Of War Crimes Filed Against Rumsfeld, Others In German Court

Activists have gone ahead and filed charges against Rumsfeld and others in German court for "war crimes." Lets see where this goes (hopefully it won't interfere with my plans to seeing Rummy once he starts his lecture circuit).

Why is it that libs think judges should have legal immunity (some have even gone so far as to say they shouldn't be scrutinized in the media), but they have no problem hanging a top US decision maker out to dry? It's going to have a huge impact on military leaders if these charges go anywhere. Doctors already are forced to make bad decisions because of fear of legal prosecution, how are military leaders to make tough decisions if they know activists can and will try them for war crimes!

Libs have put their stupid pet projects before national security again. How many times can we let them endanger US citizens?

Hamas Prepares For All-Out Attack On Israel

Israel is warning that Hamas has been building up weapon stores in Gaza and is preparing an all-out offensive against Israel (hat tip: LGF).

Also, as the previous post shows (and LGF points out) Hezbollah is doing the same thing to the North. It's tempting to say that this is being caused by all of the anti-Israel sentiment the world community has been showing (especially the UN), but the sad truth is that Islamo-fascists just want to wipe all Jews, Christians, and Westerners off the face of the earth (and everyone else who doesn't abide by the laws of sharia and jihad, for that matter).

IAEA Finds Plutonium In Iranian "Waste Site"

The International Atomic Energy Association has found Plutonium in an Iranian waste facility. Reports the AP:

International Atomic Energy experts have found unexplained plutonium and enriched uranium traces in a nuclear waste facility in Iran and have asked Tehran for an explanation , an IAEA report said Tuesday.

The report prepared for next week's meeting of the 35-nation IAEA also faulted Tehran for not cooperating with the agency's attempts to investigate suspicious aspects of Iran's nuclear program that have lead to fears it might be interested in developing nuclear arms. As well, the four-page paper made available to The Associated Press confirmed that Iran continues uranium enrichment experiments in defiance of the U.N. Security Council.

Earlier Tuesday, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Tuesday that Iran would soon celebrate completion of its nuclear fuel program and claimed the international community was ready to accept it as a nuclear state.

Why is it a surprise that Iran is defying the UN and that they don't care? When Israel doesn't defy the UN the UN still makes them out as evil war-mongers; Iran continues their nuclear work against UN mandate, and the UN does nothing?

The only way to stop nuclear enrichment in Iran is to blow their nuclear facilities off the face of the earth. I know that liberals have no problem with millions of Jews in Israel being nuked, but do they not realize that Iran poses a threat to the West as well?

More Proof Of Media Bias

LGF links to this damning report of media bias. This one is different then the rest because it is actually the media outlets that did the ling, they weren't just too stupid to catch it, like when they published obviously faked or staged photos.

More invisible evidence ...

The insanely liberal blogger, Kos on Daily Kos quotes this story, with a note saying "Thanks George."

There's plenty of evidence to suggest that President Bush may have been the deciding factor that killed the GOP's momentum in some key Senate races over the last week. One Republican consultant is convinced that Bush's last-minute visit to Missouri on behalf of ousted GOP Sen. Jim Talent did the incumbent in. According to the network exit polls, Democrat Claire McCaskill crushed Talent among those late-breaking voters who decided in the final three days (a full 11 percent of the electorate). Bush also made a last-minute trip to Montana, where anecdotal evidence indicates the president's rally for Republican Conrad Burns stopped the incumbent's momentum in Billings.

And where is all of this "evidence?" No where to be found on Kos - that's for sure.

Senator Mel Martinez To Become Chairman Of The RNC

Hot Air is reporting that Mel Martinez will be the new head of the RNC. Hot Air:

Hot Air commenters agree: it's an awful pick, transparently aimed at appealing to pro-amnesty Hispanic voters. If the GOP goes ahead and puts Boehner and Blunt back in place in the minority leadership, you're looking at a very dire electoral situation in 2008.

More Terrorist Support Of A Democratic Win

Just found some more support for the Democrats from terrorists (dated 11/03). Via World Net Daily:

National leaders in the Democratic Party, including Howard Dean's Democratic National Committee, potential House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, possible presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and longtime party stalwart Ted Kennedy don't want to talk with WorldNetDaily about an endorsement their party has received. The endorsement came via a WND article by Jerusalem bureau chief Aaron Klein, who interviewed leaders of several prominent Mideast terrorist organizations, including Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades and Islamic Jihad.

"Of course Americans should vote Democrat," Jihad Jaara, a senior member of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terror group, and infamous leader of the 2002 siege of Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity, told WND.

"This is why American Muslims will support the Democrats, because there is an atmosphere in America that encourages those who want to withdraw from Iraq. It is time that the American people support those who want to take them out of this Iraqi mud," said Jaara, speaking to WND from exile in Ireland, where he was sent as part of an internationally brokered deal that ended the church siege.

Jaara and others told WND that they believe if the Democrats come into power because of the party's position on withdrawing from Iraq, that ensures victory for the worldwide Islamic resistance.

Who do you want to vote with? The troops or the terrorists?

Now our troops are sexist? (and here I thought they just gave millions of women the right to vote.)

Another non-story is gaining attention in the MSM:

"SEE GI JANE TAPED TO A POLE; TROOP VIDEO RAISES EYEBROWS"

The video is here, on YouTube. But don't bother watching it. It's just a couple of troops in Iraq having fun. But oh no! It looks like they may be picking on a woman! Nevermind that she's laughing throughout the video. All I can say is that this story had better not get blown further out of proportion.

Dems Plan To Abandon Iraqis

From TownHall:

It would be funny if it weren't true...

Carl Levin Embarrasses Himself

I watch all of what they showed of Carl Levin's speech on CNN this morning. He outlined his agenda now that he's to be Chairman of the Armed Services Committee. It was worth watching since he pretty much spent the whole time embarrassing himself.

A few choice moments: He chose to bring up the liberal myth of "no oversight" of the War in Iraq under the Republican Congress. Guess he missed this post on Protein Wisdom thoroughly debunking that.

He also mentioned the liberals' plan to cut-and-run, saying they will be attempting to withdraw troops in six months time.

He also showed that he is either an utter demagogue or a complete idiot. He said, "We can't save the Iraqis from themselves." The threat in Iraq isn't from Iraqis, it's from terrorists who have flooded into the country in a Jihad against America. We can save the Iraqis from the terrorists by killing all of the terrorists. Running away with our tail between our legs will only embolden the terrorists as they crush Iraq and turn it back into an Islamic theocracy.

Can't wait to see the new Congress in action with jokers like this running things...

Momma Moonbat - The Next "Great Communicator"

(Hat tip: Shiplord Kirel via LGF)

Here's a quote that shows the true, under appreciated genius of Cindy Sheehan:

[A woman] yelled out to [Sheehan] as she was leaving the stage that the Iraqis have a memorial to the victims of terrorism saying "Freedom Isn't Free." Cindy got back on the stage to say of course freedom is free, if it wasn't it would be called expensivedom.

LGF thinks that ought to be a bumper sticker. I think he's right.

I would love to get a hold of a video of this just to hear if even a Sheehan crowd was dumb enough to laugh and applaud for this.

Al-Qaeda Seeks Nuclear Material, Dems Seek Insane Leadership

LGF has this disturbing story about al-Qaeda seeking nuclear material .

Also, I spotted this great headline while prowling my news page: "Pelosi Endorses Murtha as Next Majority Leader ." I guess we all knew he was the guy, but I can't think of anyone less deserving of a position of power in either party. House Majority Leader John Murtha just has an ominous tone to it...

Dems To Set Iraq "Time-Table" (Cut-And-Run)

So the Dems want to cut-and-run. They're going to propose a time-table for troop withdrawls. Reports Reuters:

Bush has insisted that U.S. troops would not leave until Iraqis were able to take over security for their country, and has repeatedly rejected setting a timetable for withdrawal because, he says, that would only embolden the insurgents.

The White House said, however, that Bush is open to new ideas. Bush will meet on Monday with the bipartisan Iraq Study Group that is expected to recommend alternative policies in its final report.

Yeah, I've already mentioned the Iraq Study Groups brilliant ideas... The American people have voted to give the cowardly Democrats a shot at power, now let's see what they think of the way they use it.

Quick Links: All The News That's Fit To Print

I've got to do yard work and homework, so I'll just do quick links to the rest of my stories. Here's all the news that's fit to print:

The US is pushing for a Pacific free trade zone "from China to Chili." I'm particularly excited about this; a more prosperous world for everyone.

More good free trade news: Russia is a step closer to joining the WTO . Like I said before, more free trade = a better world.

And finally: This story is disturbing even if it isn't authentic: Iran TV has broadcast footage of a US Naval vessel in the Persian Gulf they claim was shot from an unmanned Iranian drone. Either this is true and they have better military technology then we thought, or it's a lie and our showing off of Naval power in the Persian Gulf has been a waste, since Iran has destroyed the effect with this propaganda.

Iraq Consensus: Deliver Them Into The Hands Of Terrorists

Well here's a bright idea from the congressionally charted Iraq study group:

The group will, however, almost certainly endorse an idea long favored by Mr. Biden and many other Democrats: an attempt by the United States to find common ground on Iraq with its neighbors -- including Syria and Iran. Though the Bush administration has resisted such an initiative, the newly designated defense secretary, Robert M. Gates, is likely to favor it. Forging a stronger international consensus on stabilizing and reconstructing Iraq, perhaps by staging a multinational conference, is one major option the Bush administration hasn't tried.

Aren't we trying to get the terrorists out of Iraq before leaving? So how would delivering them into the hands of Syria and Iran help that? What common ground is there to reach? We want a free Iraq, they want the whole world (especially the Middle East) under Sharia Law. On a side note, I hadn't heard Joe Biden's brilliant solution to Iraq:

Nor will it endorse a U.S.-sponsored division of the country along ethnic lines, a proposal pushed in modified form by the incoming chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations committee, Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr. (D-Del.).

Do liberals learn nothing from history? The last time the Dems created a country along ethnic lines they got their most hated nemisis: Israel.

Template And Logo Change

Well, we've switched to a new template (tell us what you think!). The other one was just a little too orange. This one seems a little too green to me, but I guess it fits the "forest" theme...

Anyway, since I'm already making changes, I thought I'd put up the winter logo. And don't worry, when the time comes I'll have a Christmas logo; this isn't some PC substitute.

Normal logo:

Winter logo:

Moonbat Conspiracy is Utter Lie

I hadn't seen this moonbat conspiracy video on youtube from some lib before (hat tip: Malkin):

But after seeing this complete debunking of the wacko Bush-lied conspiracy video, I think this is a great example of the Left's detachment from the truth.

Hilarious. But at the same time it's disgusting that the original video has over 200,000 hits and has been applauded throughout the moonbat blogosphere.

UITF Computer Wallpaper!

I like to make computer backgrounds and share them. Here's my latest: "The Crusades: Don't You Think We're About Due For One?" A great background in a time of war against Islamic terrorism.

I've also been linking to my first one in the sidebar for a while: "Flags." I like " Flags," it's a simple representation of everything I stand for: The America flag to represent the greatest nation in the world, the Israeli flag to represent peace and democracy in the Middle East, the Papal flag to represent my religion - Catholicism, and the Confederate Battle flag to represent states' rights.

Check them out. I make them every once in a while, so be on the lookout for more as well!

Republicans Should Return To Reaganism

From Yahoo:

"We are in the wilderness because we walked away from the limited government principles that minted the Republican Congress."

No crap. I wouldn't argue that Republicans got what they deserved for straying too far from the principles that Reagan worked with to form the modern Republican party.

Dems May Appoint Harold Ford DNC Chairman

Hot Air says Harold Ford may replace Dean now that they need to keep up the illusion that they support minorities. Why is it that Republicans appoint and elect people of color based on their qualifications and the Dems only do it when they need a black person to point at and say "he's with us"? And you'll notice that our method of appointing talented people yields more minorities then their affirmative action...

Al-Qaida, Iran, And Syria Applaud Democratic Win

Well, al-Qaida has already applauded the Dems' victory on Tuesday; now it's Iran's turn! Reuters reports:

Iran's most powerful leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, on Friday called U.S. President George W. Bush's defeat in the congressional elections an "obvious victory" for the Iranian nation.

Syria is also in on the celebration. Reports CNSNews:

Iran and Syria say that a Democrat-controlled Congress and the resignation of Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld could relieve the pressure on them, officials from those countries said.

Both Iran and Syria have been under pressure from the U.S. -- Iran, for its refusal to abandon its nuclear program; and Syria for its alleged involvement in the murder of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.

Mehlman Out. Steele In?

I hate when I forget to post on something, because then I look behind on the times when I post on it later. However, better late then never!

So, Ken Mehlman is going to step down as Chairman of the RNC . He's done a great job, I think they just want a change in leadership (don't buy this "Mehlman Stepping Down After Maher Outs Him" crap. He announced he'd step down before Maher slandered him).

The Republicans have tapped Republican All Star Michael Steele to be the new Chairman. Let's hope he takes the job, I would love to see him go head-to-head with Dean!

Pelosi On 60 Minutes: Real Civility!

Yahoo actually has a good 60 Minutes clip of Nancy Pelosi getting caught up in her own "civility" double-speak . If you can tolerate their video player, watch it.

Libs Can't Have It Both Ways

Talk about wanting your cake and eating it too, reports AP:

Gates would be expected to do what the outgoing secretary, Donald Rumsfeld, could not: Figure out how to bring home substantial numbers of troops from Iraq in short order, without surrendering the country to a new insurgency or triggering all-out civil war.

So, is this the new liberal mantra? Withdraw our troops in substantial numbers while not causing instability in Iraq!!! Not only is that not as catchy as "cut and run" (oh wait, I don't think that's what they call it...) but it's also quite a tall order. That would be like me saying "Put a Democrat in office, but don't let him molest women in the Oval Office" or "I support welfare programs but not causing laziness and dependency on the state." You can't have your cake and eat it too.

Another Illegal Immigrant Strikes

Another illegal immigrant strikes, murdering a 40 year old woman with a 3 year old daughter.

Terrorists To Sue Top US Officials In German Criminal Court

Looks like the liberal wet-dream is starting. Apparently some terrorists - upset tat they were captured and made to live on a tropical island eating three meals a day with access to recreation yards, clean clothes, a cot and a Koran - are pressing criminal charges against Rumsfeld, Tenet, Gonzales, and others in German court (because Germany provides "neutral ground," or some crap).

The liberals have long wanted a means to defend terrorists, not just against military attack, but also against prosecution under the law. Let's see if they'll finally get their wish.

Terrorsists Support Libs Becuase Libs Support Terrorists

Why am I not surprised... Reports AP:

On the audio tape made available on militant Web sites, the al-Qaida in Iraq leader also welcomed the Republican electoral defeat that led to the departure of Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld. He added that the group's fighters would not rest until they had blown up the White House.

Aren't these the guys who were practically campaigning for Johny Kerry? If anyone is shocked by the fact that the terrorists support liberals then they need to pay closer attention. If you were trying to destroy civilization would you rather your only adversary want to kill you back or want to talk with you about your feelings? I think being endorsed by Osama should automatically qualify you to be thrown from office...

Rangel Plan For Bipatisanship: Act Like A Child

It looks like Charlie Rangel is already working hard on creating an atmosphere of bipartisanship. Reports NRO:

Rep. Charles Rangel, the incoming chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, revealed yesterday that he's got his eye on Capitol Hill office space now held by the man he recently called a "son of a bitch" - Vice President Dick Cheney.

"Mr. Cheney enjoys an office on the second floor of the House of Representatives that historically has been designated for the Ways and Means Committee chairman," explained Rangel, who vaulted to the top slot of the tax-writing panel - one of the most powerful in Congress - when Democrats rolled over the GOP to take control of the House.

"I talked to [future House Speaker] Nancy Pelosi about it this morning," a giddy Rangel crowed during a news conference at his Harlem office.

" I'm trying to find some way to be gentle as I restore the dignity of that office," chuckled Rangel. "You gotta go, you gotta go."

How petty and pathetic is that? These people make me sick.

Allen Concedes To Webb

We all new it would happen, but Allen has conceded to Webb, so the Dems now officially control the Senate. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid just has a horrible, ominous ring to it, doesn't it?

French Try To Kill Some Israelis

Why am I not surprised: "French troops almost fired at Israel jets ." I'm sure it was just an accident...

Rush Limbaugh On Todays Events

Rush on todays unfolding events.

New Coulter Column

New Coulter column. And she makes a good point (as always):

As Roll Call put it back when Clinton was president: "Simply put, the party controlling the White House nearly always loses House seats in midterm elections" — especially in the sixth year.

In Franklin D. Roosevelt's sixth year in 1938, Democrats lost 71 seats in the House and six in the Senate.

In Dwight Eisenhower's sixth year in 1958, Republicans lost 47 House seats, 13 in the Senate.

In John F. Kennedy/Lyndon Johnson's sixth year, Democrats lost 47 seats in the House and three in the Senate.

In Richard Nixon/Gerald Ford's sixth year in office in 1974, Republicans lost 43 House seats and three Senate seats.

Even America's greatest president, Ronald Reagan, lost five House seats and eight Senate seats in his sixth year in office.

Levin: Nixon Apeased Libs, Look Where That Got Him!

I'm listening to Mark Levin who notes that Nixon tried to apease the libs (that's how we got the EPA, Affirmative Action, and OCEA) and look where that got him! I hope GW thinks about that before he thinks about Minimum Wage (yes, he's considering it) and amnesty (yup, he also called that "common ground").

Liberal Agenda And Rummy's Resignation

Michelle Malkin has this down-right depressing post on the liberal agenda.

Hot Air has video of Rummy's resignation.

The Islamic Invasion Has Begun

So Islam now has a Congresman and a judge. The invasion has begun. Are we on our way to being like France? Muslim youths torching cars and beating police daily? Planning attacks and spreading their hateful ideology from inside our own country?

Remember; just because they wear suits does not mean they aren't extremists. David Turfe (pictured at left), the district court judge elected in Michigan, is an open supporter of Hezbollah (making him not that much different then your average Democrat) and Keith Ellison (pictured at right), elected a Congressman in Minnesota, is supported by terrorist mouthpiece CAIR and is a former spokesman of the Nation of Islam.

Sowell: Dems Practice 'New Voter Fraud'

Thomas Sowell:

Democrats have learned to avoid admitting to being liberals and this year are running a number of moderate candidates.

If these new moderate candidates are elected and give the Democrats control of Congress, that control will be exercised by senior Democrats who will hold leadership positions -- and all of them are liberal extremists, whether people like Nancy Pelosi in the House or Ted Kennedy and John Kerry in the Senate.

Getting people to vote for moderates, in order to put extremists in power, may be the newest and biggest voter fraud.

Read the entire Nov. 7th article.

Drudge: Bolton May Be Next Head To Roll

Drudge thinks that John Bolton may be the next head to roll to apease the Dems. Let's hope not.

Pelosi: 'Impeachment Is Off The Table'

Not that a liberal has ever stuck to their word, but Political Pit bull has the video of Pelosi pledging that impeachment is off the table. Let's hope she's not full of crap this time.

Hastert Steps Down From Leadership

I have no comment, but thought I should mention this. Reports Time:

House Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.) will not seek reelection to the Republican leadership when his members return as a minority party after taking heavy losses in Tuesday's elections, a Republican official tells TIME.

Hastert is a good guy.

GW: Dems Will Make 'Comprehensive' Immigration Reform Possible

Oh joy! I'm stilling listening to the GW press conference and he just announced that a Democratic legislature would give him a better chance at passing "comprehensive" immigration reform. AKA, a little security plus a lot of amnesty.

Pelosi's Agenda: Simply Nightmarish

This sounds like something from a nightmare:

Pelosi has said that in the first 100 hours of her speakership she will push for action implementing all 9/11 Commission recommendations on national security, raising the minimum wage to $7.25. eliminating corporate subsidies for oil companies, allowing the government to negotiate Medicare drug prices, imposing new restrictions on lobbyists, cutting interest rates on college loans and supporting embryonic stem-cell research.

On a side note, I'm watching the President's press conference and you should see how happy the media is. They're even laughing at GW's jokes. Now if they can just kill more babies and take more of our money, even the terrorist attack they let happen won't wipe the smiles off of their faces!

Rummy Is Out

GW just announced that Rumsfeld is out. What is the world coming to? More on this as the story unfolds. He's putting forward Bob Gates as the new Secretary of Defense. Unless he'll do a crappy job, will the libs confirm him? I guess we'll find out.

GW just said he had been planning to out Rummy but had not had a chance to speak with Bob Gates yet. Rummy has been offering his resignation for years, ever since the moonbats started whining, but until now GW has had a spine and kept him.

Now GW is saying that he and Rummy want some "new eyes" looking at Iraq.

GW talked about being bipartisan and working with the Dems at his press conference and gave them the thing they wanted most: Rumsfeld. Now let's see how willing they are to work with the GOP.

The Good And The Bad: Election Not The End Of The World

Well, that election didn't go well... Time to look forward. Let's all realize that people didn't vote for Democrats, they voted against Republicans. We need to improve. We need to continue our gains in taking the media, but more than that, we need to get a hold on our spending, we need to crack down on illegal immigration, etc. The problem is, these things will be hard to do with liberals containing the legislature.

Some bad things: in LGF's words " flying subpoenas and impeachment hearings," a possible lame duck term for GW, difficulty in getting conservative judges appointed (and in a time when there are rumors of an opening coming up on the Supreme Court), and a possible repeal of the Bush tax cuts (killing our economy).

Some good things: this will force the Republicans to get back to their conservative values (stop wasting money and crackdown on illegals) and this will force the liberals into the public eye (if they had to hide Pelosi and Dean to win a few seats this time, how are they going to win the White House when people see how they run things?).

Time to look forward to 2008. This has been a horrible loss, yes, but it's not the end of the world. Hopefully we'll be able to keep Americans from being killed by terrorists and keep the economy booming despite the liberals, and come 2008 we'll be able to show people how the liberals run things and take the White House.

Election Day!

It's election day! Get out and vote you conservatives! Don't listen to the media, your vote matters!

Novak: GOP To Lose Seats In House, Senate

If my math serves me (which it probably doesn't) then Novak has predicted the Republicans will lose seats in the House and Senate, losing control of the House. I've never had much faith in Novak, nor have I been a big fan, but he's been around so long he must know something, so I thought I'd throw that out there.

Liberals, Just Listen To The Formerly Oppressed!

I'd like to point out that liberals think dictators like Castro and Saddam are just fine and that we over react about them, and yet their own people who flee to the US celebrate at news of their impending deaths? There were parades in Miami when it was announced Castro was sick, and there were parades in Dearborn when it was announced Saddam would be hanged. Shouldn't that tell liberals something?

Polls Suggest Momentum Swinging For Republicans: Oh Joy!

The polls mean nothing, they're so liberally slanted, so what a downer it must be for Democrats when they start to move our way:

Some late polls suggested momentum was swinging the Republicans' way, and Ken Mehlman, the party chairman, told allies the surveys summoned memories of 1998, when the GOP lost seats but held power.

Rush said today that the average has gone from the Dems being up 13 to only 6, or something like that. Pathetic...

Judge Orders Sex Offender To Wear 'I Am A Registered Sex Offender' T-Shirt

Finally, a judge who handles perverts correctly (how much you wanna bet he's a conservative?), reports Reuters:

A Delaware judge on Friday ordered a man who twice exposed himself to a 10-year-old girl at his workplace to wear a T-shirt with the words: "I am a registered sex offender" in bold letters , a prosecutor said.

Russell Teeter, 69, who pleaded guilty to two counts of indecent exposure, also was sentenced to 60 days in jail by Superior Court Judge Jan Jurden in Wilmington.

Deputy Attorney General Donald Roberts said he requested the unusual T-shirt punishment because he was concerned about Teeter exposing himself to children at the gardening business he runs with his wife.

"This is a unique way to let his customers know that he is a sex offender," Roberts told Reuters.

Roberts said Teeter had at least 10 prior convictions dating back to 1976 for exposing himself to children and had been diagnosed as a compulsive exhibitionist.

Teeter, who has 30 days to appeal the sentence, will have to wear the T-shirt at work for 22 months after he gets out of jail.

Other than shooting them and throwing them in ditches, I like this solution to perverts.

Be Nice To Callers

Just a reminder in this final day before the election: Be nice to the volunteers who call you!

I just got back from making another round of calls for my local Republican party, and I get a ton of mean people who say "I'm voting Republican, now stop wasting my time!" I'm on your side! Be nice to me.

By the way; yes, the Democrats are almost intolerably rude.

Polls Lie, So Vote!

Just in case any of you have been scared by the liberals' polls, here are some good signs we're going to win tomorrow: the liberal media is starting to make excuses for when they inevitably lose, two stories in particular: " Saddam verdict may boost Bush's chances" and " Kerry need[s] to apologize quickly." So now the liberals' have their excuses. Bush planned the Saddam Verdict as an October surprise! The media overplayed Kerry's misspeak!

I'm actually growing tired of telling poor, scared conservatives this: don't listen to the polls! We all know the liberal media is biased and most polling firms are just an arm of the liberal media! We've been hearing this from pollsters since 2000! Gore will win, Kerry will win, Iraq will kill the GOP in the midterms! It's all crap!

What do they have to gain from these lies? Are they just trying to quell their own fears? No, they have everything to gain! The media wants you to see these polls and think that the GOP has no hope so that you won't vote! Why would people vote if they think they have no hope of winning? It's the same thing they did in 2000, calling Florida before polls closed in the conservative pan handle! It's the same thing they did in 2004, rigging the exit polls to show Kerry with an impossible lead!

The most important thing you can do tomorrow is vote!

Saddam Appeals

Saddam was sentenced to death and is now appealing. Of course he is; a) he doesn't want to die - I'm sure he knows Satan is waiting, and b) he wants to have more time to give his little speeches about the "Great Satan" from his cage.

He should have been killed already. He had a far fairer trial then he ever provided to anyone, people have had their closure, now let's crush him under a slab of concrete or strap him to a bomb or something.

'Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against The West' Trailer and Clips

A great movie about Islam. Here's the trailer:

Here's the 12 minute version of the movie:

Here's the movie's site.

John Kerry: Still A Joke

Man, I didn't realize it's been 5 days since my last post! Sorry, the election has me very busy volunteering to get Republicans elected! Anyway, to make up for my lack of posts, I've got some videos to post!

First of all, here's Cheney signing the now famous picture proving that the troops think the Dems are a joke:

And here's a video showing what a liar John Kerry is and how weak his excuses have been:
