Judge Allows Terror Supporter A Trip To Disney World

Isn't our justice system wonderful?

A federal judge in Illinois on Thursday approved a request for a trip to Disney World by a man who the government had once accused of aiding Palestinian militants, brushing aside prosecutors' claims that he may instead flee.

"I'm confident that he will come back," U.S. District Judge Amy J. St. Eve said in giving former Chicago grocer Muhammad Salah permission to make the trip to the Florida vacation spot....

..."I get to take it off," a smiling Salah told reporters after court, pointing to a bulge under his left sock where the government has placed an electronic monitoring bracelet to make sure he stays under house arrest.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Joseph M. Ferguson opposed allowing Salah to take off the monitoring bracelet or make the trip.

"His word has been found worthless by a jury," Ferguson said.

And libs bitch that we're being cruel to terrorists! We're letting them go to Disney World!

I don't know this guys' story, but if he's been convicted of aiding terrorists, he should be hanging from a tree somewhere. If he's suspected of terrorism, he should be sitting in a concrete room awaiting trial. Don't be surprised when this guy flees the country and ends up in Palestine killing Jews, or Iraq killing American soldiers.

Televise The Supreme Court?

There's a "renewed call" in the Senate to televise Supreme Court hearings. I'm all for it, I'd love to see Ruth Bader Ginsberg fall asleep again.

But seriously, I think this would be great. Maybe if people saw how ridiculous these people are they'd learn to just ignore judicial fiats. Then we could go back to being a nation governed by the people, not by the Supreme Court.

Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Helps Terrorist

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has thrown out one of nine convictions for Millennium Bomber Ahmed Ressam meaning he'll have to be re-convicted of the other eight counts. Allahpundit says it's no big deal, legally, and he may be right. But what's sickening about this story is that once again the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has shown that it will put the "rights" of terrorists above the security and safety of Americans.

Terrorists To Sue Top US Officials In German Criminal Court

Looks like the liberal wet-dream is starting. Apparently some terrorists - upset tat they were captured and made to live on a tropical island eating three meals a day with access to recreation yards, clean clothes, a cot and a Koran - are pressing criminal charges against Rumsfeld, Tenet, Gonzales, and others in German court (because Germany provides "neutral ground," or some crap).

The liberals have long wanted a means to defend terrorists, not just against military attack, but also against prosecution under the law. Let's see if they'll finally get their wish.
